The Murphy Tattletale Magnetic Switch 24 Volts 518PH-24 is the nerve center that translates Swichgage contact operations into decisions and operate the alarm or shutdown device. It allows for Swichgage and/or N.C. contacts to be wired "Closed Loop" (in series). Any contact open or Swichgage contact close in the circuit shunt trips the 518PH-24. Contacts are rated for 10 amps 24V. A 14 amp fuse is included. This model features a weather resistant case with screw terminals for ease of customer hookup, NCH control circuit output contact and manual reset. For distributor ignition or diesel engines.
Tattletale Annunciator indicates which monitored function failed leading to the alarm or shutdown whereas magnetic switches do not. Magnetic switches operate basically as a latching relay.
